From Parent to Advocate
A 1:1 Parent Training Experience
What would it feel like to walk into school meetings knowing exactly what to ask for and why it matters for your child?
Do you worry that you’re missing something important simply because no one has taught you how the system works?
Many parents are told to “trust the process,” while quietly feeling confused, intimidated, and completely unprepared to make important decisions about their child’s education.
This experience was created for parents who no longer want to sit through meetings feeling powerless or dependent on others to explain what their child needs.
Unlike advocacy support, this program is designed to teach you how to confidently navigate the special education system yourself.
Over 4 weeks, we work with you one-on-one using your child’s real educational situation so you can learn how to effectively advocate in meetings, communicate with schools, and understand what support your child may truly need.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
How the IEP and special education process actually works
How to prepare for school meetings with confidence
What questions to ask during meetings
How to communicate concerns effectively with schools
When to advocate more firmly for additional support or services
How to better understand your child’s educational needs and rights
By the end of this experience, you’ll feel more prepared, informed, and confident
navigating future meetings and decisions for your child.
Because this is about more than one meeting.
It’s about helping parents become confident advocates for their child’s future.
