From Parent to Advocate was created for parents who are ready to stop feeling powerless in school meetings and start feeling informed, prepared, and confident advocating for their child.
Unlike traditional advocacy support, this 1:1 intensive coaching experience is designed to teach you how to navigate the special education process with greater clarity, confidence, and understanding.
Over four weeks, we work together one-on-one using your child’s real educational situation so you can better understand:
how the special education process works, including IDEA, Section 504, evaluations, accommodations, and IEP development
how to prepare for school meetings with confidence
what questions to ask during meetings
how to communicate concerns effectively with schools
when to advocate more firmly for additional support or services
how to better understand your child’s educational rights, available supports, and what schools are legally responsible for providing
This experience is especially helpful for parents who:
feel dismissed or overwhelmed during school meetings
struggle to know what to say or ask for in the moment
want to better understand evaluations, goals, accommodations, and services
are tired of relying on conflicting advice online
want to become a more confident and informed advocate for their child
